With System of a Down, Shavo Odadjian has sold millions of albums, conquered countless cities worldwide, and built a reputation as one of the most recognizable and mysterious personalities in rock. But beginning March 1, Shavo puts down his instrument to orchestrate a fine art collection as enigmatic as the bassist himself.

Created over the course of six months, Shavo’s WAIL release features 220 canvases, each unique and all holding one-of-a-kind status. And like the artist, the release offers two distinct images – one apparent in daylight, the second, visible in low light.

Shavo recently made interview was Yerevan magazine, He said that this interview would be very special because of his current state of mind: deeply in love.

He also said that there are several emotional or spiritual statues of mind and body that we absolutely need to discuss over the course of our interview, because if one wants to understand him as a person, that is the direction to take . That reminded us of Nine stories of J.D. Salinger, in which each story represents an emotional state with its own Zen symbols.

Rock Stars Photographer, Greg Watermann, has finally released his along waited project,  FOREST, online on his website or on his offiical youtube channel

The 5:21 minutes video project, is a result of  more than several years of work including collecting photos, edit, DJ work and final cuts.

 The System Super Slide Show = S.S.S.S. = 4-S's = "Forest" is a one of its kind project Watermann wanted to dedicated to System of a Down and their fans.

A combination of 22 songs mixed incredibly by the talented DJ LethalRush  with over 400 pictures of Greg Waterman's outstanding photo works.

Serj Tankian joined the band VISA on stage of the Troubardor at Novmeber 25th, 2009 to sing a new song, VIKTOR, in his latest collberation with other bands.

VISA, have lately singed with Serj's label, SERJICAL STRIKE, and they are ready to release their new album, MADE IN CHERONOBYL, in early 2010.

'VIKTOR' is expeteced to be released in VISA's next album, MADE IN CHERONOBYL, and Serj will be singing in the album version.

Shavo Odadjian was special guest on "Thanksgiving Eve" last Wednesday Nov. 25, 2009. The night had special DJ set by Shavo, and took a place on Area Nightclub, this is what happened there briefly:

I got to the Area nightclub around 12:45-1 ...I originally got there at around 9:30ish but they were just setting up and told me Shavo wouldn't be playing till midnight and only for an hour.

I thought I was fucked when I got there but Shavo was still playing and played until the place closed @ 2:00 AM. He was smoking cigarettes, dancing to his beat. A friend of this was videotaping the whole thing and some girl in the back was taking a lot of pictures.

Khatchadour Tankian, the father of Serj Tankian will be releasing his debut album, Inchbes Moranak, will be out in December at selected record stores, ITunes and online at Serjicalstrike.com
