hypnotize is such a kickass song, i heard it at the Seattle, WA show on Wed. OMG it was soooo cool.

Holy crap I was thinking of blowing my brains out when i heard this because I was coming to the conclusion that i will not EVER beat Daron Malakian EVER! He's just too good, trying to outweighing him in songwriting is like trying to bleed a rock. He's just too good...

The song's not so hard to play on guitar.... but I will never ina million years have Daron's songwriting capability.... which sucks for me........

i dunno, i don't like it that much. sure, it's a good song and better than 90% of the music out there, but as a SOAD song, it's just decent. i mean, every song is just BRILLIANT on Mezmerize - that album got me into SOAD to begin with, so... all i know is that THIS song'd not get me into SOAD at all... it's not bad, but overall being kinda slow and kinda too simple, "Hypnotize" is not a powerful statement like BYOB or Toxicity or Cigaro or PLUCK and not as thought-provoking as Question! or Aerials or Spiders or even Lost in Hollywood was. true: it's catchy, but somehow didn't affect me much. i know there will be shitloads of better songs on Hypnotize, but i wouldn't have chosen this one as the lead single. oh well.

i'm looking forward to Attack and Vicinity the most (they could be the craziest songs in the SOAD catalog), but Lonely Day, U-Fig, Stealing Society and Soldier Side Outro will be great songs as well i guess.

I think this song is fucking amazing. My o­nly problem is with the guitar part at the beggining - I actually came up with a guitar riff extremely similar for o­ne of my bands songs months ago! I'm gutted that I now can't use it since people will think my band ripped this song off hahaha! I couldn't believe it when I heard it but oh well SOAD rule! Best band ever! Great song - and to all the people who don't like it well thats your opinion but I think alot of people are going to love it. Like me!
