System Named as Best Alternative Band |

System Of A Down snatched best alternative band at the MTV Music Awards.
Update: Download high quality videos for the
Acceptance and
BYOB.
The band sat shocked as there name was announced and as they walked onto the
stage they passed the microphone each refusing to talk. As Serj said something
that MTV Censored Daron swung the award around.
Serj then passed the microphone to Daron to speak, Daron walked away throwing
the microphone into the crowd and the band walked off stage.
"Civilization is a fucking failure. Lets get together and decide what we wanna do next, together with love and peace. Thank you" said Serj.
 Daron had the award at his penis then screamed and threw the mic to the audience!. Later, the band have performed "B.Y.O.B" on the stage.
Congratulations to the band, even though they did look pissed off.

it wasn't an hour and a half....it was about 3 fuckin hours....with all the comercials....that really sucked....5 min show and then 10 min advertising....because of the stupid breaks i wasn't able to see the whole thing (my mother sent me to bed...i had school in the morning)
anyway i saw the rerun, thank god! when the kazakstan "president" was invited i felt so embarassed......i'm romanian,,,,fuck! what was that all about? and shavo's not crying

Ok . . . Darooon says Fuck MTV, yet if Rick Rubin didn't sign run DMC there would in theory be less rap/hip-hop crap out there to watch. After all MTV was a rock only station.

I can't see it eather!!! That really sucks!!! Please someone convert the videos to something else... Don't know why I can't see them, though...? I have never experienced this before: the picture lags and the pic turns green, and then my computer freezes... :o(

I kinda felt like maybe Daron was ripping another group (Greenday??) when he said "This isn't you bullshit political punk rock" in BYOB! I love how he finnished up with "Suck my dick" at the end of the performance. Now with that being said if they aren't interested in the mainstream then they should have played something different. I guess they don't have alot of choice in the matter but it seems to me Lost In Hollywood would have really fit the bill with all the phony people in the audience! Maybe next time!
