System Named as Best Alternative Band

System Of A Down snatched best alternative band at the MTV Music Awards.

The band sat shocked as there name was announced and as they walked onto the stage they passed the microphone each refusing to talk. As Serj said something that MTV Censored Daron swung the award around.
Serj then passed the microphone to Daron to speak, Daron walked away throwing the microphone into the crowd and the band walked off stage.

"Civilization is a fucking failure. Lets get together and decide what we wanna do next, together with love and peace. Thank you" said Serj.

Daron had the award at his penis then screamed and threw the mic to the audience!. Later, the band have performed "B.Y.O.B" on the stage.

Congratulations to the band, even though they did look pissed off.

Marta 04.11.05, 21:37	hmm in the article there is one wrong thing. The truth is that there is no astonishment so SOAD couldn't be like that... everyone knows that he win. The person who exactly showed that was Madonna's housband when he said that the winner is Madonna (it was Moby) the Moby's music was turned on and Moby stood up and started to go for the award. That what the fuckin MTV awards is :/ (it was few years ago) In my opinion they played strange and Serj was singing terrible John was cute :)

S.O.B. 05.11.05, 04:30	Haha I stood up and clapped when Daron threw the mic. Jared Leto seemed a little concerned. Which is probably why Madonna had to keep the thing going...They definately kicked more ass than anyone. Greatest ending performance. Anyone notice that in BYOB, Daron sang a different verse for "And we don't live in a facist nation!" Anybody know what he said? And that breakdown at the end was awesome! Serj seemed a little out of breath and Daron looked drunk or just really angry. Man, that host bugged the crap out of me. He made fun of all the American music. David Grohl should have kicked him in the ass when they were performing and he was crawling around onstage. I was suprised to see that Pussycat Dolls liked SOAD...and Coldplay, and that one guy on the red carpet. Anyway I knew they would win, I mean come on, the competition wasn't fierce! God, now how many days till Hypnotize..? KUDOS SYSTEM, on TAKING THE AWARD AND THEN GIVING A GOOD OL' FUCK YOU BACK TO MTV!!!!!yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All in the band looked pissed off exept Serj who looked like he was starting to cry and Daron seemed to have taken drugs or somthing because HE WAS PISSED OFF!!!!! on the preformance, SOAD play BYOB (as you alredy know) Daron changed lyrics before the last part to"why do they allways send the poor" : SUCK MY DICK!!!!!!!!!!!!! He screamed and the preformance was very good but the was the last on stage, I didn't like that because the clock was 12 p.m here and I was really tired the day after. But it seemed like they have been told to be pissed off because of their music style is very hard for a channel like MTV. (MTV europe never plays hardrock , or what do you call foo figthers and green day????? that's the rock we get......)
