Thirdly, this is more of a pop/rock album. I want the heavy metalness of SOAD or the hard rockiness of Toxicity. I don't want this pansey crap.

Seriosuly, I don;t see why everyone thinks this is so great. There are a few decent songs on here and it's an OK album, but SOAD, Toxicity and even STA are far better than this or mezmerize.

I'm a SOAD fan (freak is better) since the first album too and i also got every album since the first !!! and i have to say that they get better...each album is unbelievable great but the music gets better and better...the style now is very more individuall and now you hear when its SOAD...

i think that mezmerize/hypnotize is the best album ever but i also hear the old songs...and soad is not just serj ... its daron, serj, john and shavo !!! just together they are good

I just got it today, too!!! ^o^ And, because I'm totally obessed, I bought both the regular and dual disk versions. =/

that's not fair. by the time i wanted to go and buy the dual disc version, they were all sold out!!!! so instead, i just got the cd. "IF" they have more of the dual disc versions, can anybody notify me so i can get one???

Well, i really hated Mezmerize, it was so not soad-like, Repetetive lyrics and not as heavy as the Firs ones.

But i have to say that Hypnotize is much much better in every single way i can think of, it`s heavier, better lyrics and less Daron! Sure Daron can sing just great and all that but it`s just something that feels wrong when he sings (and in my opinion Serj sings much better)

And it sounds much more like the old soad! Thumbs up for that, altough it`s still not as good as it`s predecessors Toxicity and my personal favourite System Of A Down.

how does a dual disc work????? the cd part plays in conventional players?????? the sedigraphy of the album is conserved or it is just a both sided cd????

bring back serj and the old system. toxicity=life changing
