Antonio Pontarelli session work with System |

15-year-old Antonio Pontarelli does things with his violin that Eddie Van
Halen does with his guitar. On the night before he was scheduled to take his
SAT, Pontarelli's performance showed that the violin is a rock instrument. Word
is he also recently did some session work for System of A Down. Who needs

On Antonio's website it says:
Antonio has performed and recorded with rock legends such as Jethro Tull,
Serj Tankian (System of a Down) and numerous other Grammy winners, He
aspires to make a difference in the world through his music and he is certainly
on his way. Antonio sums up his philosophy perfectly in five simple words…"It's
all about the music".
It's not clear whether Antonio has co-operated with System of a Down in future
projects or already made one.

I think and hope that when it says "Serj "System of a Down"", they mean "Serj from System of a Down". Why else would it say Serj, and not just System of a Down? And that looks like a pretty recent picture if you look at Serjs appeareance (I'm no expert but I think so), so maybe it's for Serjs solo record! I'm loooking forward to find out if that is the case :D

From Antonio's page on Wiki: In Fall 2006, Pontarelli performed classical and electric violin tracks for Serj Tankian's (Lead singer of Modern Rock band, System of a Down) debut solo album to be released the summer of 2007. wOOt indeed!

Antonio Pontarelli is on Serj's album. He plays in the acoustic version of Empty Walls and some others. Check the credit section on Serj's CD to find out what other songs :)
