Have you ever felt like a cup of coffee while staring at your
computer screen waiting for what to do? Yeah? Well.. I had one of these moments,
so I searched for one of Frank Zappa's videos and start to enjoy, how funny and
genius that man was..
Cell phone is ringing, no one can bother me now, I have my coffee and my
Zappa's video, phone's ringing again, who dares to call while Zappa is
playing?
I picked up and... - Hello?

-ah, Hi! Hey Shavo!!
- Hey brother, how are doing?
* I'm still looking at the screen, I can see Shavo's
playing with Zappa band in the back*
- I'm fine man, how's everything?
*Shavo's doing really cool with the Zappa band, when did Shavo join Zappa in
the 70s? what year is this?*
- Me repeating 'How are you doing' again... I'm so amazingly confused, Frank
Zappa is on the phone! How come he's calling me?*
- In laughing tone, I'm doing well bro, what's' up!
* I finally stopped Zappa's video and again Shavo's back on the phone!
From ABBA to ZAPPA!
 Shavo's not
a usual musician, he's not just another artist. He's multi-skilled
person who managed to play bass with one of the most successful rock band in the past
10 years, he's writing lyrics, composing music, do great artworks, a director
and even more.
When people wonder What's Shavo musical influences, he gave his remarkable
answer that truly express the truth, " from Abba to Zappa".
From completely rock/metal to hip-hop/rap music, Shavo's now getting ready to
release his debut album with his new band ACHOZEN:
Asking Shavo; what with the shift from Rock to hip-Hop? he replies:
"I used to love hip-hop since I was seven!. I was always (and still) big fan
of this music"
"The album is recorded and mastered ..and everything, I just came back from
New York, meeting people there, went very well.. I'm in the process of looking
for a label" Shavo said.
" I'm on the music and the art, I'm looking for a label that .. you know..
they gonna love us, it's not about money and how much they gonna pay us." ,
"hopefully in some next weeks we will be signing with a label"
'The Album' is the title that Shavo's might consider for AchoZen's debut
album as they didn't settle on a title yet.
One more time, when's System of a Down coming back
"I dunno when we will come back.. I can't promise anything... we will be back
when the four of us agree on the best time"
"I like what I'm doing right now coz I can express myself, this is something I
wanted to do years years ago, every member has his own projects and they are
enjoying what they are doing"
Shavo asking the fans not to be rushed the come back of System of a Down, and
respect with open mind the fact the members are brothers and no issues between
them, it's matter of every member has to do project of his own...
"I did play all kind of music instruments, apart from violin. I did play
guitars, bass, drums..etc even singing !"
Me interrupting "wow Singing?"
Shavo continues: "yeah, I'm singing in Armenian in one of the songs of Achozen's
album, there's some singing in Armenian by me and others (members of Achozen) in
the album."
Shavo kept surprising me by mentioning a song titled "Fabric Lives",
a
song talks about Genocide ..
"it's important to let other people to talk about
genocide, not only Armenian, we are all humans on this earth, getting other
music cultures to support the Genocide is very important thing, that's why it's
united minds"
Shavo is so much on the idea of Awareness, although he sees the official
/governmental recognition of the genocide is important, but he sees getting
people aware of this, is as important if not more of the official recognition,
this is how it will never happen again...
"I'm done being sad I wanna be powerful, determine to make it happen after
years."
UNITED MINDS is the title of the show Shavo & urSession will host on the
keyclub on April 22, which is Shavo's birthday day
A gathering of cultures who have risen and overcome constant struggles in
their past by strength, belief and unity, this is what UNITED MINDS is all

request "I cant reveal his name else, they will not play" Shavo commented.
Killah Priest will perform songs never have been performed live before, Shavo
will be hosting and performing, Surprise style, with the Wu Tang members and
Tactics.

- In answering of "What's your opinion of Serj and Scars album?" Shavo
replied, he liked the album artwork covers!
-April 22nd is not only Shavo's birthday but the resurrection day of the monk
that... a very interesting story you might hear yourself in the show. ;)
- AchoZen album will be unexpectable ... "I think AchoZen will do to The Hip-Hop music as much
