System of a Down rocker Daron Malakian is disillusioned with Hollywood, insisting the glamorous image hides a dark side.

The singer, who has born and raised in the star-studded city, claims problems are caused by people who move to Los Angeles and end up betraying others to survive

He says, "The town is a sad story in a lot of ways. When I tell anybody I was born in Hollywood, they go 'Wow! Really?' Yeah really, and it was a shittty neighborhood. It's really not the greatest place to raise your children."

"That LA life usually exists in people who aren't from LA and that's the reason they're so backstabbing."

"They know they're coming to a town where they'll get eaten if they don't eat someone else first. I stay away from it."

in the other hand System of a Down has been confirmed as the musical guest o­n "Saturday Night Live" o­n Saturday, May 7. 2005

This will be the band's first-ever appearance o­n the show, and they'll perform two songs - "B.Y.O.B" and "Chop Suey" Johnny Knoxville will be hosting, so be sure and tune into your local NBC station.

System did another great show in germany Yesterday, the setlist was the same as in france and england ;

After after B.O.Y.B daron played a classic..."we're o­n drugs"...lol at first he looked to serj and his eyes where like sayin:"...where are we?"
while they played "science", Daron was running around o­n stage and lurching...right into johns drumset...he crashed against the toms but nothing really serious happened they didnt stop playing and a roadi fixed everything up very fast.

Before they played "kill rock n roll" Daron said:
"so i felt like the biggest asshole, when i killed your beloved rock n roll... I am gonna mow down all the sexy people in here...and kiss all the ugly o­nes... ladies and gentleman, I dont know what I'm talkin about"

The whole concert was really cool, because the band had a lot of fun they where smilin and laughing most of the time...
After they played the song Daron said "you're not supposed to know this o­ne yet"...hehe 

 
In the half of "Prison Song" where normally the quieter bridge starts, they started playin "Roulette"...while Serj and Daron where playin, Shavo sat down in front of his speakers and smoked that what his doctor told him to smoke... or he and John where throwing towels at each other... 
 
in the middle of "War?" they put a roboter part in and Serj sang something with soldiers...maybe in this kind the sodier side intro o­n Mezmerize will be.

As you can see the last song was "Sugar" and during that song Daron made a joke...he said something about Shavo but I couldnt understand what...all 4 guys where laughing and Serj even had problems to sing because he had to laugh so much...its strange to see him laughing while singing the part " I sit in my desolate room..." hehe...after that song the band went down from stage and didnt came back in anyway...the security and people from the wanted evetio get out as fast as possible...
