SOADFans: SYSTEM LOSE PANTS!

System Of A Down were forced to delay their appearance on Friday night at London's Brixton Academy after bassist Shavo Odadjian, alegedlly, lost his trousers.
According to our sources - the bassist had taken his favourite stage attire to be dry-cleaned. Unfortunately, when he return to collect the lucky strides - the shop was shut.
After a tense few hours, the police were called, the owner tracked down and Odadjian's trusty pants returned to their owner who then legged it over the Academy to rock a rather a late show.
SOAD are in the UK promoting their latest album 'Mesmerise' which is on sale now. You can catch them at Download festival on Sunday 10 June, Manchester MEN Arena (14) and Glasgow SECC (15). "Mark Knopfler doing 'Sultans Of Swing' totally influenced the way I play. He's one of my favourite guitar players in the world, and it's definately had a big effect on what I sound like."
I'm very picky with my solos, and he uses his fingers, all my favourite guitarists use their fingers - except for me. I'm a horrible finger picker. If you can finger pick infront of me I get really jealous. I have a real complex about it"

SYSTEM OF A DOWN will be interviewed on Fuse's "Uranium", premiering on June 10 at 9:00 p.m. "Get to know a side of the band that most journalists don't have the balls to uncover," reads a press release hyping the show. "With sh*t slinging from both sides, Juliya and the band don't hold anything back. It's raw, it's in your face, it's a one of a kind interview with SYSTEM OF A DOWN like only 'Uranium' can get. And we're not afraid to air it ALL."
SYSTEM OF A DOWN will kick off their first major North American tour in three years on August 4, headlining the Long Beach Arena just outside of Los Angeles. The tour, which features THE MARS VOLTA as special guests and BAD ACID TRIP as the tour's first leg openers, will see SYSTEM OF A DOWN headlining arenas in some forty cities over a ten-week period.
The tour is in support of SYSTEM OF A DOWN's the brand-new album, "Mezmerize" (American Recordings/Columbia Records), which was released May 17 and debuted in the Number One slot on the Billboard/SoundScan charts. "Mezmerize" is the first disc in a two-disc set, with disc two, "Hypnotize", set for a late fall release. "Mezmerize/Hypnotize" was produced by Rick Rubin and SYSTEM's main songwriter/guitarist Daron Malakian.
