This is my review of the concert!!
Oh my god! It was amazing!!! Serj was wicked hyper or whatever! He was bouncing all over the stage and dancing.
Serj played in between Against Me! and Foo Fighters
When one row of the lights went out right before he came out, tons of people freaked. The second row went out, more people freaked and finally everyone was screaming after all the lights went out. I was in my seat bouncing up and down(literally) when I saw a figure dressed in white come onto the stage. My cousin(who I went with) was pretty excited too. She didn't really know who he was until last night. She also had ear plugs in...we were wicked close! The ear plugs is a sign that she is getting old. ^^
The first act was amazing...Against Me! is now up in my favorites. My ears popped with the first song, but I eventually got used to it. It was so loud that the entire stadium was shaking! That was cool.
I absolutely loved Serj's dancing! In the beginning of "Empty Walls" I laughed so hard. He is so goofy.
"Who has seen Borat? Who has seen Romeo & Juliet? Lets put them together and watch them have sex!" ...Serj, that was just bad. I didn't hear what he said right after it.
And his Praise the Lord, Pass the Ammunition speech was pretty cool.
I love the faces he kept making! Oh yea, that's right, we were that close! But, they didn't let my bring my cameras Stupid people. So I got some on my phone, but they didn't come out too good because my phone is CRAP!!!

Ha...I actually ended up looking for you anyway...I turned to my cousin and said "Well, if he were here, he would be out taking pictures of the fans right now...I don't see him, so im guessing he isn't here." Yes, even though he told me he wouldn't be there, I still looked for him.
Those lights that were shinning on the seated audience were pointed right at were I was sitting. Everyone was covering their eyes so they wouldn't be blinded...Except me. I was staring right at Serj, even though he would walk into the light once in a while. And the lights for his performance were awesome! But the blue and red made it difficult to get a good photo with my camera. GW!!! We needed you...And I am just repeating myself now.
When Serj was walking off stage, any of you guys hear "Whoa! Serj!!!" Really loud? That was me I was really loud too. Everyone was growing quieter and I thought "Nows my chance, he will be able to hear me." He looked back too after I did it...That was cool. Im a loud mouth!!!
Serj Tankian, you looked really really *couch* Hot Man, for a 40 year old guy, you have a LOT of energy. It's either you drank a 5 hour energy drink for one hour, a pot of coffee or you just get pumped when you hear all your screaming fans. Maybe all three!
I laughed when the drum set fell apart...I was like "Oh snap!"
Two guys sitting behind me were like "Oh man, I hope this guy doesn't suck" Right before Serj came out. After Unthinking Majority and Empty walls (first two songs) they were like "This guy sounds just like the lead singer of System of a Down."
I turned around and told them it was. They were like, "No way!" And I went on to tell them that he was promoting his solo album. They were like "solo album?" Then I told them System of a Down went on a "break" two years ago. They had no idea! They were college guys too. A 16 year old just showed you up! lol...That's bad...Im obsessed. They also said after the third song (feed us) that they thought I was going to sing along with each song and scream for Serj after and before the songs...They were right!
During "Lie Lie Lie" The part were there is a scream...Serj didn't try it, but everyone in the audience(including me) did it for him.
There wasn't really a mosh pit. Two or three people were doing one, but they stopped when a guard shown a light on them. And there was a random balloon that shot up in the air and slowly floated back down. That was weird.

My cousin and I left after Serj Tankian was done...both of us were listening to the Foo Fighters music they were playing before the concert and decided we didn't want to be sick after. Oh snap, lol. So many people booed when Serj asked "Who likes Foo Fighters?"
Did anyone else go to the Binghamton concert?

Oh! I was the girl with the green hoodie and pigtails right in front of them. Strawberry blond hair. The one that kept screaming after every song. SInging every word along with him...lol

What a fun review!
I saw Serj (not with Foo Fighters) in Atlanta, and he said a similar thing about Romeo & Juliet & about Borat, but I don't think he said anything about them having sex.
They way I remember it was Serj asked the audience how many of us knew the story of Romeo & Juliet. And then he asked how many of us knew about Borat. He said "This next song is like Romeo & Juliet meet Borat".
Ofc it was his intro to Lie Lie Lie. And it was pretty fucking funny!

Yea, I think he said it right before Lie Lie Lie at ours too. Did he do that "Praise the Lord Pass the Ammunition" Speech at yours?

No, I don't think he did much of an intro to PTLAPTA this time. Several of the intros were different. He didn't introduce Baby by talking about his dream this time either.
But I liked it being a different show. Keeps things exciting.

^^ funny to read that Serj talks about Borat, lol.... he has mentioned the similarity to his "old" look, hasnt he?!
