Holy hell that concert was totaly crazy!!
First Daron came on stage wearing a funny little hat and fur coat and played sodier side, then the dome exploded as they began attack, followed by BYOB and revenga, then daron started pulling a tape worm out of his ass. Deer dance was next... Daron once again jumped into the crowd... on top of me and my friends!!! I got to try to play his guitar while he was on my shoulder haha, his new black gibson sg. they played throught to lonely day and kill rock and roll , then a huge surprise of old school hollywood and Radio/Video.
Then Daron screamed at the crowd to take him home, and followed up buy saying "i live in a van down by the river, and so does he and him and him too" as he point at Serj, Jonh And shavo.
Finally to end they played good old suite pee and sugar, but half way throught suite pee Shavos bass started to scream so he started smashing it around in frustration and finally through it at the wall beside the drum kit and totaly anniolated it.
All in all a very VERY awsome system show in cow town that lef tme bruised yet satisfied. |

that was a great show and i got nailed in the face so many times and got a bleeding lip!! that part sucked lol
i was so suprised when they played radio/video and the part where daron yells "yo mama!!", that was hilarious  |

Rock on SYSTEM!!!!!
I just got back home today so here is my review:
So I flew from Toronto to Edmonton to catch the first concert, then from Edmonton to Calgary to catch the second one so here it goes:
The Edmonton show was kick ASS, as people already said. Some mentions of the actual show: Daron said something about a transexual but I couldn't hear properly because the crowd was so damn loud. Also, before a song Daron's like "Were expecting someone back, were expecting someone back, were expecting Jesus Christ........,otherwise, us" and everyone started cheering. No offence to anyone, but I didn't like the crowd in Edmonton because they were so rude to System....they threw so much garbage on stage that Daron had to STOP the song and restart, and he said "grow the fuck up" and I totally agree with him. Its given that people always throw things on stage to be noticed, but at this concert, it was EXCESSIVE and it was really interrupting the performance in my opinion. Also, after the show, people were throwing bottles of water on John's bus while the poor guy was eating his dinner and another bottle hit his window and he turned to see what it was because he was right by the window. First of all thats incredibly RUDE and MEAN...the guy just poured out all his energy to give you a fucking awesome show and you do that to him? It was mean, rude and disgusting to see, especially when you do it to people as humble and as nice as System of a Down
I went to the back of the Rexall Place where the buses were and after about 30 minutes of waiting, I saw Shavo come out. I was so excited. I wave my Armenian flag in the air and scream "HAYASTAAAAAAAN" (which means Armenia) and he looks at me and does the \m/ thing with his hand (that made my day already). In the meantime John was on his bus, and was later joined by Shavo. Then, after about 45 minutes of waiting, I see this man dressed in black come out and I KNEW it was Daron (at this point all the fans in this area left, it was just me) so I yell "DARONNN!!!". He stops walking, looks up and sees me, and waves and says "Hey!" and I yell "BRAVOOOO!!!!!!" and wave my Armenian flag and that already made my fking day....but little did I know what was yet to come!
I go around to the other area where there were a few fans remaining. There were about 15 of us, my dad said these are the "die hard fans!" Suddenly, Shavo walking out the bus and coming towards us! When he arrived, he was SOOO nice. In Armenian I'm like "Shavo you guys played so well today congratulations, thanks so much!" and he said thanks in Armenian. I asked him if it was possible if he could sign my shirt, and he said sure, and he did. Then he smiled at me so much because he was happy to see me there with my dad. Then a girl told him that they better come back and hes like "We will as SOON as we can" and then a fan asked why he came here and hes like "I just saw a bunch of fans and wanted to see what was going on so I came!" Hes so cool and nice. Then my dad told him we're from Toronto and we'll see them tomorrow in Calgary and Shavo was so happy and hes like "Oh really? Ya! for sure!" In the meantime, he was signing a bunch of autographs and taking pictures but my camera was in the car at the time, so I couldn't take a picture with him  When he was leaving, go to Shavo and I'm like "Shavo, please tell everyone i say hi" (in Armenian) and hes like "For sure I will...you know I will" (in Armenian) and then he goes back to the bus.
About 25 minutes later, Daron gets off his bus and starts walking towards us!!!!!! I was SOOO surprised because I always heard people on this website say he's an ass and stuff but he TOTALLY wasn't he was SOOO SWEET and NICE and KIND. I was the first to talk to him again. In Armenian I'm like "Daron you guys played so well thank you so much" and hes like "Wow thank you." Then I gave him a silver marker to sign my black shirt but he used the black marker that he already had then he's like "Oh you wanted silver", so he does it in silver! That was SO nice of him. He was really shy and was signing things that people asked him to sign. The remaining fans were crowding around him for pictures so he's like "I'll just stand here, and you guys can do whatever you want!" and then he did a really funny face for some fans in their pics. My dad tells him we came from Toronto and we'll see them tomorrow in Calgary and he's like "Your crazy!" Then my dad says to me "Hes a nice guy isn't he." and I'm like"Yup!" and Daron overheard so he's like "You should live with me for 3 weeks....nice guy ehh!" Then he starts laughing and so do all of us haha hes so funny. At this point my dad had brought the camera from the car so I took a pic with him and He SMELT SO GOOOOOOOD. Then he stayed around and talked to us a bit, but then it was time for him to head back to his bus, so a fan said "Daron your a god" and he's like "nono you guys are gods" and he points to all of us n bows. He is a REALLY REALLY nice guy.
I also met sako the drum tech's cousin, who is soad's wardrobe stylist, Daron's personal assistant and Shavo's bass manager and he came to me and started talking because he saw my flag. He was soooo nice and kind...Also, there were a bunch of 4 wheeler ATV's and he was racing with shavo!
CALGARY:
concert=AMAAAAZING even better than Edmonton's....usually Question! isn't as good live, because its extremely hard to play, but this time they NAILED IT! It was so beautiful; the concert had so much energy it was awesome. In the middle of the performance, Shavo gave a handshake to John and also took some of his drumsticks and threw it in the crowd....During Lonely Day, instead of "It's a day that I'll never miss", Daron said "It's a day that makes me piss!" and in Lost in Hollywood, instead of "phoney people come to pray" Daron said "Phoney people fucked away!"
AFTERSHOW:
The first one out was John. There were about 20-30 fans waiting outside and I was beside them. I waved my flag and John started walking towards me and said "how nice" to my flag. I say, "John you played so well you guys are the best!" and hes like "Thank you, I really appreaciate it". Then my dad comes n says hi 2 John and says good job then he says my daughter got her shirt signed by Daron and Shavo last night and she missed you, so could you sign it? and this was between the fence so John's like sure, then he started thinking of how he could sign it. I told him I was wearing two shirts and that I could take it off n throw it over the fence and hes like "nono dont worry, I'm gonna have to come around" I felt so bad that I was putting him through such trouble, yet I was so happy that he came all the way around the fence for my shirt! Instead of walking around the fence, he hopped onto his 4-wheeler ATV and raced around and it was soo cool. He has an Armenian flag on his little ATV also! So I told him thanks for everything and he signed my shirt then we stood for pictures....my dad kept trying 2 take the picture, but the camera wasn't working so my dad said "Sorry old man doesnt know how to use these" then John's like "It's ok, young man doesn't know how to either!" Then he told his bodyguard to take the camera and take the pic, and it worked! Then a girl goes to him and shes like "Wow I wish I was in System of a Down, that would be soo cool" and hes like "Why don't you make your own band?" and shes like "I tried and I'm not good" and he's like "how old are you?" shes like 18 he's like "Wow you've got LOTS of time" That was REALLY nice of him and I think that girl will be inspired to get better, especially coming from John! He is soo nice and he was talking to all the fans so nicely. After talking to the fans for a while, it was time for him to go back onto his bus, so I tell him thank you so much and your awesome and he says thanks a lot in Armenian and we shake hands and he leaves.
Next up? Shavo! When he sees my dad and I, hes like "Hey!! There you are!!!" The whole time he was hanging on to the fence but like all his weight was falling back because the hill was steep so hes like "woooooooowwwww" trying to balance himself. Then he almost fell over and hes like "You can at least try to catch me!" and I take a picture with him through the fence because I didn't get the chance to take a picture with him the night before.
Then Serj comes out. I got his autograph and said hi but we didn't get to talk much because he had to go early and I had to move to give other fans the chance to say hi and get an autograph. My dad told him that he met him in Toronto but Serj said that he didn't rememebr, but he rememebred Toronto".
Then, Daron comes out, onto the hill and everyone is screaming his name and hes like "I'm coming, I'm coming, you guys dont have to be so fucking loud!" haha he said it in a nice way, not mean at all. He chilled outside with us for a GOOD 15 MINUTES!!!!!!!! I didn't expect that at all...he was so cool and nice and kind and sweet and it made my day. I told him I'm going to take a picture of him so he did this crazy pose then said "Did you get it?" and I'm like ya and hes like good then he signs my ticket and then a guy tells him that he can play at his house one day and Daron's like "can I really?" LOL then the guys like ya and u can break watever u want and darons like "nahh I don't like breaking things" then the guy had a cane so darons like whats that? and hes like oh this is my cane cuz I shattered my knee and Daron's like "oh I'm sorry to hear that" He is so fking nice and you could really tell that all of system REALLY and TRULY care about their fans. Then this guy asked Daron about the hiatus and if they'll come back together and Daron said hopefully and hes like we just wanna work on some side projects for now and im like "like scars on broadway" and hes like yeaa. He talked to us for a bit longer and he really didn't have to stay with us for as long as he did, it was truly so nice of him. Then hes like "k guys I'm gonna go now before I fall off this fucking hill!" Then he walks to his bus so quietly with his bodyguard and enters the bus and that was it.
