No they didnt say they would come back XD sorry to say XD Serj said that they would go on hiatus and if they felt that they wanted to make a new album with System of a DOwn, they would come back, its strange cuz John said they would be back in 1½-2 years or something like that.. sorry for the negative news m8
sry i messed up the above post, anyhoo, what makes u so sure to believe serj over what john is saying. John says that they'd be back in in 2 years or wutever, which makes sense. I think the band knows that they'll be back. Think about it, with their solo projects comming out soon, in my opinion, they will have their solo's released sumtime in the summer, then perhaps start touring to promote their albums, and that will prob last like a year and a half, two years, sumthing like that, i dont think they'll make a second solo after their debut albums, so then, they'll figure that they now done somehting that they wanted to do for a long time, they have the experience, they kno what its like, now its time to hit the studios and get back to SOAD.... |

I dont preferd Serj' words above Johns words, only, Serj said it with Daron in a interview and he said it in a interview about is own solo-album, John said it in an other interview. And believe me, I truely want them to come back, but it ain't clear what they said about it XD let's just hope John was right and theý'll come back in 1½-2 years XD |

"We're not breaking up. If that was the case, we wouldn't be doing this Ozzfest. We're going to take a very long break after Ozzfest and do our own things. We've done System for over ten years, and I think it's healthy to take a rest."
- Daron
"There's been a lot of rumors about us breaking up. Well don't fuckin' listen to them. Us four right here, we will always be System of a Down!"
- Daron
I do believe that System will be getting back together probably around 2009, 2010 or so. |

| I think it all depends on how well Elect the Dead and if they go ahead Achozen and Scars on Broadway albums and tickets sell. I think as soon as the projects are over System of a Down will be recording again. |

If we can't discuss anything else in here, is there much point to leaving this thread as a sticky when there is good chance System will not be touring as a unit again? |

Because usually no-one even looks at the stickies anyway.
We want topics to stay on topic. And like I mentioned, there already is a Hiatus thread. |

System is tough to photograph. They're not really into all the hype that a lot of other bands are into, but they do want their fans to see the great moments.
