hey i never said anything about me supporting anyone.
i actually agree with you on the hypocrisy part.
the US is out in the middle east treating everyone over there like crap
and according to the Operation Pliers thread, it is trying to destabilize another country's government. |

Actually, Che's goal of creating two, three, many Vietnams to drain the US economy by overextending itself in war is coming true today. The US wars in the Middle East and Central Asia have drained the US economy, created massive debt and devalued the dollar.
Unfortunately, the world economy has globalized to the point that the continuing collapse of the US dollar/economy is pulling some other economies down with it.
Oh, it looks like China just announced it's going to speed up dumping the dollar. http://www.naturalnews.com/023005.html So much for capitalism. |

Cuba isn't socialist. Socialists doesn't want revolution etc, they want reform.
And someone said that Cuba looks like it's stuck in the 50' because of their political system. Bullshit.
If the US wouldn't have the trade embargo against Cuba their economy would have evolved (possibly thrived). Despite of these shitty acts by the US Cuba has evolved a bit and have education and such.
I believe that Cuba would have become a developed country by now and be in the fourth stage of the Demographic transition if it weren't for USA.
And I also wanna say something about The Cuban Missile Crisis. USA had tried to invade Cuba (The bay of pigs) before the missile crisis. Worth to know before someone start critisizing Cuba for the missile crisis.
Not only USA want to defend themselves... |

i never said he wasn't =S
my point was aimed at the fact people say that Che is dead, he is more than a man now, he's a symbol or an idea, i wasn't being specific about his goals and all that

hey socialists can be interpreted differently, they can come to power through different means, social reform would arguably be social democrats
but let's not get caught up on definitions since i totaly agree with the rest of what you said |

Sorry, Partisan_3, I didn't mean to come across as being contrary. I agree with your point.
Every time I look at the US' disastrous wars in the Middle East and Central Asia and what it's doing to the US economy, I think of El Che. I suspect he knew that the US would end this way eventually. |
