Abso-Friggin-Luely i 100% agree my school bought 4 huge fuck off plasma screens and but them all in the same place no joke and all they display is classroom changes whats wrong with a blackboard it would cost about 100 times less but be just as efficient and all the other crap they buy thats totally unnecessary its not where the money should be going to its what is done with it when it gets there at the moment its ridiculous everyone should get a say in what is done with THEIR money and then none of this would happen. |

| this spending actually seems just about right. it takes a lot of spending just to mantain a military, and significantly more to develop and expand it. non-military programs dont take much money at all to do anything. bullets are much more expensive than books |

^thats true, military is expensive but when managed properly its better too
money goes towards training for emergencies, research etc.
in the school i go to every thing is fine, everyone has books ect.
i do not see why teachers are protesting the budget cuts, and we get substitute teachers
and the students get out of control. |

| Im british and if you Americans think you have alot of tax you should try living here! We are the most taxed country in the world and thats a fact! Where do i think it all goes? To buy the Priminister a delicious 5 course meal. Since we have no control over where our money goes whos to say how much of it actually benifits are country. Probably not enough! And i expect thats the case even worse in America with your greedy suck ass goverment and all! |

Sorry if it seems like I'm only quoting you but this is rubbish.
Our tax money does not go straight into Gordon Brown's pockets, that is such an easy and uneducated comment to come out with.
Just a quick flick onto wikipedia shows we're not the most taxed country on earth at all. So it's not a fact.
