| I dont doubt that john could hold his own with TOOL but with his own time changes and beats TOOL is a different genre than soad. They are both great bands I enjoy the hell out of. |

John has played with Tool at least once before and on the track I heard, he seemed to be doing more than "holding his own".  |

| ^^ That day on the tour (March 16, 2002--I think?), System was playing in Amsterdam, Holland at the Heineken Music Hall. Not sure of all of the details, tho. Sorry. |

| Hmmm, I haven't been to that gig myself (you have the correct date btw), but System had Dillinger Escape Plan as their support act there. I just checked the review of that gig too and it didn't mention anything about Tool. But like you already said, you're not sure of the details. |

^^ It's also possible that the date there is wrong. Tool was on tour in Europe in April/May/June...part of that tour was on Ozzfest. System was ALSO on Ozzfest at the time. So that's more likely.
