Zeitgeist (pronounced [ˈtsa͡ɪtga͡ɪst] (help·info)) is originally a German expression that means "the spirit of the age", literally translated as "time (Zeit) spirit (Geist)". It describes the intellectual and cultural climate of an era. In German, the word has more layers of meaning than the English translation, including the fact that Zeitgeist can only be observed for past events.

mmh, that is indeed a good translation. But it doesn't matter how long I think of it "Zeitgeist" is so powerful in german and so worthless in english...
I've read in "Hunger" from Lan Samantha Chang "speaking [the native language] is like beeing a fish in the water" It's quiete good to describe it. You can never learn any language, so that you have this feeling. |

I love every part.... And the stuff about the taxation of America is just absurd. I love this movie.. 5 stars
and for the people who watched 5 minutes of it.... what was the point? The movie doesn't start until 10 mins in lol |

Everyone needs to see this. Period. You don't have to believe it, as you're obviously allowed to believe what you want, but you should watch every minute of it.
I think they made a mistake opening the movie with Christianity, as it is going to piss off a lot of close-minded people and won't get to the important stuff, parts 2 and 3. I don't even think this shit is conspiracy theory. Parts II and III are about entirely fucking true, the evidence is right there. This movie does a good job informing people within a couple of hours.
Please, watch this. We as a people need to start spreading something. This may seem like a bit of an over-drastic message and you might laugh at me wanting everyone to watch it, but hell. Something needs to be done. |

| I was talking about this with a friend of mine on YIM and damn it's all interesting. Especially the religion and taxation part. Was it me or did anybody get the idea of "Damn" when they saw the part about Hitler? |
