A Review by Dan Wildey 
Went to this Gig Last Night and it was my first concert and it was flipping Awesome 
Due to lining up outside to get into the astoria i only saw like 2 sogns of the support band Fair to Modland, I thought they were great. I think the song i saw was Vice Versa.
They went of and it took like 30 mins to set the stage up for Serj. Nearly everyone is chanting for Serj and eventually the guys make there way onto the stage and kick the show off with Unthinking Majority.
Now the sound wasnt great as the instruments were to loud and the mic made Serjs voice sound weird at times and Serj noticed the sound wasnt great and gestured to the sound guy during the first song and actually went over to talk to him during Charades i think.
Anyway Unthinking Majority was Awesome and a great way to kick things off.
Empty Walls was the second song and another great performance by Serj and the FCC
Feed Us was third i think and i loved because i love the song anyway. Everyone is getting into the show....Moshing....Jumping........
Lie Lie Lie was next and a great song and i think everyone was donig something (Clapping, Moshing etc)
Saving Us was after i think and was good, Lots of people singing and again great performance by Serj and his band
Baby was after and was great Same as the others really
Charades was one of my favourite songs of the night...I dont think many people around me knew it but i was singing and stuff so it was good 
A scream of C*** started Bethovens Cunt and it was very good live and was a good moshing song lol
Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunation is better live than on CD i think with a little talk to the crowd started this and a good performance
Then they went onto the covers with Holiday in Cambodia and Girl
I enjoyed both and everyone enjoyed them and i think Girl was enjoyed more than i thought it would be....Great covers of the songs
Last Song of the night was Elect the Dead and it was good with just Serj on his own.
Then the FCC threw some guitar picks and drum sticks into the crowd and were taking photos and stuff
After elect the dead Serj left the stage after saying thanks and stuff and everyone started to leave
I got a Serj Hoodie
and also got the Fair to Midland album today
So for my first concert is was Fucking Amazing lol |

I went to the Astoria concert too, and surprisingly the que was REALLY short when we got there (to hours before the doors opened) so we got pretty good "seats" up on the balcony where the view was great! I wanted to be in front, really close to the stage but thank God my friend talked me out of it since the moshing was INSANE! I mean.. I wasn't expecting any because the music wasn't that metally, but the moshers didn't care what kind of music it was they were moshing to.. I'm so glad I wasn't down there, lol! Scary shit!
Anyways.. you already know the setlist from above, and all I can say really is: OMFG! What a fantastic experience that was.. I loved his dancing, his facial expressions.. EVERYTHING!
Although the music was pretty loud and my poor ears have still not gone back to normal

yea i was there too fantastic gig i was right at the front to the right of the stage, got some good shots from my friends phone, i ll upload them shortly ;]
was a great gig, Serj had far more stage presence than he did when i saw system in 2005
and some fella on my left got like a hundred pics on is camera, they were really good too i wanted to steal it  |

Yeah i was in some of those pits... i'm feeling really sore today!
It was probably one of the best gigs i've been to (even if it was the shortest). I knew Fair To Midland were gonna be good, but fuck me they were amazing!!! Serj's performance was amazing as expected. His crazy dancing and when he added "sucky sucky, me love you long time" to the end of one of the songs (can't remember which one) topped off the night! |
