It's cool that there's a lot of Germans on this site! I'm not from Germany, only have ancestors from there. But welcome! I'm glad you seem to like this site. Since I might not be around before Christmas (busy week)... well, merry Christmas. |

I loved everything related to Germany way before I found out my great grandfather was from there, but knowing it's in my blood is a plus. Btw, I'm from New York. I like to refer to it as America's dumpster. The people are awesome, but the streets are so fucking dirty... it's gross. |

Well, Im from Hannover , I dont know if you know it, its about 150 km south from Hamburg. Quite nice but sometimes a little... boring, I dont know...
Oh thanx, I didnt know my English actually was so good, but Im pleased to read that...
I think thats because I went to England several times and Im pretty good at learning languages, sometimes I even think my English is better than my German but I hope its not, that would feel a little strange
Btw, today is my last day working, then Ill have two weeks of holidays... *yes!* Cant wait till then. I really do need holidays too!
Well, I also hope we will meet some time before Xmas etc... but if not, have some nice days everybody... |

Im really glad reading that, I just thought I was going mad because I often start speaking English until I figure out "hey, this is not the language all the others speak, so come on!". People look at me quite weird sometimes... but I cant do anything about it, it just comes to my mind and then out of my mouth.. or I mix it up, too, and say things like "I really need to call my parents wegen Weihnachten" and my husband says "WTF!"
I have to start again on January 7th as well... feels good to wake up and realize that... btw, this was the first night i could sleep well since.. I dont know when... but I think somewehere there were SOAD in my dream so no wonder it make me sleep well |
