For me "The sky is over" might have that meaning: One of your dearest has been taken from you. If one of your dearest was taken away, you`d suffer a lot and it seemed to you like your life was over. This is even more likely to be the meaning of the song, because of the last words serj says:" the sky is over ... US". So the life seems over but it isn´t to that extend that you have to commit suicide. You can go on again. "leave me alone" is one of the most often said sentences when men are in trouble  .Serj also puts blame on god when singing:
"...your no-so-gentle persuasion
has been known to wreck economies,
of countries, of empires,..."
I am tired of writing (sry for mistakes n stuff) but i hope you enjoy it and comment on this way of seeing it |

And I don't know how I arrived at the answer, it just came to me. All I got was some subliminal abusive mother vibes.
Also, how am I an asshole? I don't know you and I probably never will. Its just the same with most people you see on the street. I am no different from them (Except for the 12" mohawk). |
