ive got some time on my hands so here it goes!

(opinions expressed here are that of mine and NOT yours! so dont hate!)

-System Of A Down (Self-Titled)
The heviest system album to date! best songs are Suite Pee, Know, Sugar, and Soil. The meanings of the songs are incredibly hard to interpret which makes each song very intriging. The writting in this album by far surpasses all other System records with hard hitting hidden messages in all of these magestic pieces of art. Adding together the crazy vocals in songs like, Ddevil, Darts and Cubert, with the powerful meaning behind songs like P.L.U.C.K. and War?, in addition to the mysterious nature of the tracks, Mind and Peephole, as well as the poetic style of Spiders and Suggestions, and the heaviness of Suite Pee, Know, Sugar, and Soil, you will find that SOAD's first effort has been truly one of their greatest.

-Toxicity
System's most popular record is one of their most meaningful. Most of the songs have a direct easily deciphered message in it. Examples are Prison Song, Science, Pshyco, X, Toxicity, Bounce, Shimmy, and Deer Dance. But others like Forest, ATWA, Jet Pilot, Needles, and especially Aerials and Chop Suey! require you to think very hard about them before their message becomes clear. For me, the best tracks are ATWA, Toxicity, Chop Suey, and Aerials. The album is ripe with fillers (Jet Pilot, X, Shimmy, Bounce) and these could have been expanded upon but they work just the same. This record contains System's most World Issues centered songs, as well as some of their most intresting and "listen to it 10 times before it makes any sence" songs.

-Steal This Album!
Even though this is a b-side album, you would'nt think that if you did'nt know it in the first place. It has a vibe thats all its own and the songs are definitly of a wide spread variety and sound. Try comparing songs like Chic N Stu and IEAIAIO to songs like, Ego Brain and Mr. Jack. Its also full of very politically centered songs and songs that just scream out their meaning to you. For example, BOOM!, ADD, Chic N Stu, Fuck the System, and 36. Songs like, Ego Brain, IEAIAIO, Highway Song, Innervision, Bubbles, Mr. Jack, and Pictures, show another side to this albums politically raged madness by demonstrating intresting musical textures and lyrics that make you go "WHAT!?!?" It even has some love songs! (Roulette and Streamline) Best songs are IEAIAIO, ADD, Bubbles, and Mr. Jack. An overlooked album that is tons of fun and at the same time, makes you think till your head hurts from to much scratching while you try to figure it all out.

-Mesmerize
This album marks the turning point of System's style. This album is much more loose and carefree and at times quite humorous, while still sticking to the intelligent song writting and purposfull messages. (even if not as much.) This album also shows us MUCH more of our friend Daron's musical diversity. Some say that arguably he takes controll over the majority of the album, as there is not one song without a vocal performance by him. Some like it, most don't, but either way it dos'nt in anyway take away from the intesity and greatness of the album. Its got songs that you cant get enough of like, Radio/Video, Cigaro, Violent Pornography, and Old School Hollywood, as well as the "never gets old" B.Y.O.B. with its awsome sing along chourus and great politcal message. Its got everything you'd expect from system and more, from meaningful stuff to quirky stuff. Best songs are B.Y.O.B., Revenga, Radio/Video, and Sad Statue.

-Hypnotize
The sequel to Mesmerize delivers much of the same style, but in a different way. You can tell that it follows along the same lines Mesmerize with its inclusion of meaningful songs such as, Holy Mountains, Attack, Tentative, and Soldier Side, along with the eccentric nature of the tracks, U-Fig, Vicinity of Obcsenity, She's Like Heroine, and Kill Rock N Roll. However, songs like, Dreaming, Stealing Society and Hypnotize have unique feel to them. You can sence the emotion in each of them and you can tell that there is some deep meaning hidden behind the words. For example, in Hypnotize you can tell that there's somthing there with all the talk of Tianiman Square and Propaganda, but then he talks about sitting in his car and waiting for his girl.... This album sort of just leaves you on the edge of a cliff and egerly awaiting the end to Systems indefinite hiatus because it dosnt seem like the end. Best tracks are Attack, Dreaming, Stealing Society, Tentative, and Soldier Side.

Thats what I think! how bout u??[/b]
