I think they did the monster cleverly, it didnt really remind me of anything else. And the monster just causes mass destruction without being stopped so i guess that kind of relates to godzilla in a way. Only this creature doesnt come from the water and never goes away.  |

I saw it on opening night. Simply amazing because it kept me on the edge of the seat, and I jumped a couple of times during the movie (just a bit scary, especially when the monster roars right in their faces).
There is one very disturbing part (it involves an "explosion" but I won't spoil the part) and that was the only downside..other than that it was good.
I was also kinda hoping it was a monster from the sea...just so I could scream out CTHULU!!  |

| I thought the movie was great, I really liked how they did it. I wasn't big on the ending though, and I didn't like how they didn't explain what exactly the monster was and where it come from. There was no backstory on it, but there is a sequel in the makings I've heard, so hopefully it'll all be cleared up then. |

| Ive been getting a lot of negative feedback about this movie lately, people dont like that its been recorded through a video camera the whole movie. They also say the ending is too bland and i agree. |

It looks really really interesting.... but I have to tell you, that I'm bored with the... "_ attacks New York City" thing.
Can't someone come up with originality or does it have to do with the writer's being on stike?? |

| Good, I'm glad because Manhattan sucks. "Heart of New York" my ass. Even though when I found it was a monster I thought it seemed pretty stupid (omg monsters so scary), I want to see it now, only it fucks Manhattan up good. D:< |

| I liked it, but I expected it a bit better. I loved the monster, the city in flames was awesome. The only thing I didn't really like was the camera, it was moving all the time. Not what I expected, but good. |
