So this wild crazy idea just popped into my head: why not give thread starters the ability to close their own threads? It would take some busywork off the mod's backs, and eliminate the middleman. It would make thread closing much quicker, so that "finished" threads can be disposed of quickly.
Just a thought  |

Great idea! Even if the thread starter closes the thread because they've had the last word the mods can just re-open it anyway.

| I agree. If a fight broke out or something that did not involve the OP, then they could close it if a mod wasn't in so everyone would stfu. But if the poster did close the thread to save face if they did something really retarded, they should be warned. |

| I think the mods shud decide if topics shud be closed or not,if the starters of the topic or anyone else wants to close a thread,they wud report it. |
