| Linkin Park and System Of A Down are maybe my two favourite bands. It's not about being better or worse, it's just about being different music. You can say you hate What I've Done, and I'll respect you but I think it's a great song. I don't understand why is there a thread about wich one is better, if we are like this we could open a Metallica VS SOAD or Slipknot VS SOAD and so with every band... |

| ^ ya i agree linkin park isn't that bad or anything, but i think the thread is more about trying to get your friends into system that won't even give them a chance, and less about which band is "better". ... even tho system is clearly much better. but then again i imagine theyd say the opposite at the LP fansite wouldnt they? |

No,they are not . In my opinion they are worse . 
But that´s a matter of taste, not of good or bad , I guess. |

Agreed. Their earlier works were great. But Collision Course was exactly like the name suggested; a disaster... Fort Minor was a vomit fest, and Minutes to Midnight simply crashed and burned. Sorry LP lovers, but I don't think this band has anything new to offer....
About your friend, I don't see any point in trying to convert him. I mean its no use trying to force him to like something. Expose him to it, and let him do the choosing for himself. It may not happen immediately; it may happen gradually. Musical taste is better off acquired, not forced. |
