Hey guys I went to Serj last night so i'll throw a review on here. It started off with Fair to Midland playing for about 30-40 minutes they are a pretty good band but the performance was alittle boring to watch. Then there was a good half hour wait untill serj took the stage. He started off with Sounds of War and introduced us to the new band as the ''flying cunts of chaos'' and went right into Empty Walls and Feed us. Then he stopped and applauded us for our cheers.

Then he did his intro for Lie Lie Lie ''Raise your hand if you have seen seen Borat? Very Nice.'' Now How many of you have seen Romeo and Juilet?" This next song is about if you get Borat and Romeo and Juilet to SUCK EACHOTHER!" the crowd erupts as the intro to Lie Lie Lie starts.

Then came Sky is over, then he brought out the Axe for Saving Us and Baby. Then he did an Intro for PTLAPTA. He got one side of the room to yell ''Praise the Lord'' and the other to yell ''Pass the Ammunition'' after that came Charades with the full band. I wasn't expecting that I had only seen the Solo one. Then he hopped on the piano and went into Honking Antelope, then came Holiday in Cambodia, and Beethovan's Cunt. He then said that we were the best crowd they have seen on tour and he was telling the truth Smile sorry calgary haha. and then it was over.

Or so I thought since System of a down didn't do any encores I thought he wouldn't either but out they came and he said ''Wow I can't leave this crowd so soon and without singing this song about G.W. Bush and the last 8 years of hell in North America and the whole world.

Unthinking Majority started and had alot of energy and when he was done he thew the mike stand to the floor. Then he said goodbye to the band and ended off on the piano doing Elect the Dead. He then came to the front and did a bow and exited. He didn't play money which I wanted to see but none the less It was a quality show This is the 3rd time Serj (twice before with system)I would definetly see him again. I also probably missed 1-2 songs in there but I didn't know the names of them.

Set List:
Sounds Of War
Empty Walls
Feed Us
Lie Lie Lie
Sky is Over
Saving Us
Baby
PTLAPTA
Charades
Honking Antelope
Holiday in Cambodia
Beethovan's Cunt
and the 1-2 I missed Smile

Encore:
Unthinking Majority
Elect the Dead

If anyone has pics of the show they should post them!

Great Review
I also saw Serj and it was amazing. It was the first time that i had seen any of them live so I was super excited. During Holiday in Cambodia he jumped of the stage and I got to touch his hand. At the end of the concert the drummer came off of the stage and gave me his drumstick i was so exstatic. It was such a good concert.

The bands I admire and respect are these that have a sound that is unique, but built on it so it’s not repetitive, like Faith No More and U2
