Remember all you people who said "Daron's lyrics suck" and "he can't write for shit?"
Well this song is a big middle finger to you people, now isn't it. 
And the part about the "old times?"
Well if that refers to SOAD, I have to say:
Fuckin badass.
That's all.
Maybe he never got to mention "his mind" in interviews etc about the hiatus, much like Serj did in all the interviews Serj did. That's why he may have come out so harsh in that most recent interview.
Anyway, yeah, I STARTED the tyranny of a down thing, and you people hated me for it. Yet, there was never a "fuck you, Serj."
Hmm, this makes me wonder.

Who cares if hes dissing SOAD, that not what I was saying when I mentioned those two lines having to do with SOAD.
I thought it seemed like he was doing a bit of reminiscing.
Serj has come out with like 30+ videos of him talking about his music and the Hiatus.
And when Daron was quoted in some of the recent magazines people got all bitchy about it.
Hmm doesn't really make sense.
I think people do want a reason to hate Daron since the "Hiatus"
"They say" Might not be very long but we all now that Daron has the capability of producing something more, This is just a teaser. |

Seriously he uses like three phrases in every interview.

I don't think those lines have anything to do with SOAD to be honest but it's definitely something to ponder.
Anythings possible. Rather funny if it really was about the break up.
These lyrics are amazing, truly. And I still think it has remnants of 80's metal. The whole "test of time" and some other parts like "given rights to all of man." |

i think the lyrics are great....they make me think about some stuff.
and the music is sounds kinda like pop/rock music to me. (don't get me wrong, i think the music is great^^)
it's just completly diffrent to what i expected.
i'm looking forward to the album  |
