White flag
Life in its glorious delusion
Is like an ocean in despair
Flooded with unblushing moments
Waves with moods on which we float
Creating rivers with our salty tears
Giving us opportunity to drown in sorrow
Clearing our souls with pearly drops of purity
So we can reflect in her judging mirror
A youthful energetic branch fights the current
To survive the cascade ahead
Giving it all its honourable efforts
To eventually snap of weariness
Once I was like that little branch
Full of life and willing to fight
But now I surrender with heart and soul
Going downstream into the misty oblivion
enjoy....or not! |

awww thanks...I wrote a poem in dutch school and they wanna use the poem as an example for other classes...weeheee a little fame!
