what do u think is better? empty walls for tankian? or they say for scars!!
for me its wayyyy better they say!! daron kicks the ass of tankian!! and he did a lovely surprise!!!! daron malakian has been my idol for 6 years!! |

| oh shut up you...ssef,you're favorizing daron so this song is better i am favourizing serj so i can't say that empty walls is better song,matter of taste like DarkStar78 said...but you really can at least be objective look which song is more original etc. anyway i can say many reason which can say that serj is better and you can say many that say that daron is better and other thing...i'm wondering what would you say if sob's album way presented last year and empty walls now |

I bet u that if "They Say" was released first, then it was Serj's "Empty Walls" being released afterwards now, your opinion would be opposite than wut ur saying right now....You would say that empty walls kicks they say's ass. Its cause ur so used to empty walls, then u hear sumthing new and u think that u like it more. Personally i think empty walls was much much better then "they say". Not knockin "they say", its a kool song, but i think serj still has this one! |

^^ I think it's a matter of opinion and therefore Youssef is entitled to theirs no matter how badly they expressed it.
As for me I love both too much to say that one is better than the other. |

Empty Walls wasn't released until after The Unthinking Majority. |

I like Empty Walls more than They say. I was a little disappointed with They say actually, i waited for ages for that timer to end, and when the song eventually came up i thought it was just a demo or something, in my opinion, of course.
Empty Walls is structured so well, and the lyrics to me have a lot more meaning than They Say. I guess im a bit of a sucker for the piano as well! hehehe
EDIT: Good point, but Unthinking Majority wasnt the first single from ETD, even though it was released to the public first. If we did compare to UM, i would say they are better matched, but i still like UM more than They Say! ^_^ |
