(sorry for any mispelling of bad grammar, english isn't my first language...)
the song is easy to interpret (he talk about civilization , who killed the earth... read the poem on his site you'll understand)
But the video!!! I really like this song and the video, but its hard to interpret....
I think the guy who looks like working is a gear of the lying civilization, and the child represent the hope. The guy is doing wrong, you can see it when he draw a square circle. He know he is doing wrong (you can see it when he throw the L O V E paper with the gun head guy) but i think this is only way to go. On is side, the child is living peacefully with the earth (garden). When the guy got pissed off , he drop everything he was doing and go play in the garden and meet the hope. I think the paper mask represent the ignorance, he prefer hide behind a paper mask and dance, having fun in the garden...
Then they all realize that the reality is not like that, the guy spreading the gold powder everywhere mean the waste of the natural resource. The guy who taste the pleasure of earth and hope is now all alone trying to fight with a violent reality, but sadly its too late.
Oh and about the bird, the child (hope) find an egg (life) at the beginning. After the egg finally hatched, the child let him go free (goodbye... goodbye!). The guy put it in cage (we are stuck in the society , the civilization) but he release it when he discover the reality (maybe too late...)
This is what i feels when I look at it, feel free to comment... |

No offense, but I really don't see how you could think that's Serj in the video, even after he stated he only wanted to apear in ONE video. Not to mention why would the same kid be in two videos? The videos were most likely being filmed near the same time by completely different directions.
