| This is kind of sad but I really do not want to go to prom at all. Dressing up sucks but thats not the worst part. My girlfriend's a grade above me so I really don't know anybody there. And I really don't like her friends because they are really fucking mean to me. And after prom now I have to stay somewhere over night with my girlfriend and her friends. And worst of all, my girlfriend acts really different around her friends and I hate it. I really don't want to go at all and I just want to tell some people how I feel. |

explain it to her, she should understand.
and she shouldn't be acting different like that,
that's not fair to you either.
me and my friends didn't go to prom,
cuz we were the "outcast" kids that listened to metal.

I am not going to prom either mate.
I don't particularly want to spend the cash ($70 for Junior Prom) and the few people who I would actually like to go with and consider asking to go with, already got asked like 2 months ago and are going with those people. I guess there's always Senior Prom... |

If my girlfriend acted differently infront of her friends, then I'd throw her my middle finger and ditch her.

| Yeah I don't think its anything special at all and I hate dressing up. I kind of have to go because my mom and everyone is making me go which sucks. |

Then at least try and talk to your girlfriend-maybe she doesn't realize that she is different when her friends are around... Tell her how you feel, as your girlfriend she should understand. If you can't be honest in a relationship... Well.
If not or if you don't think it would work out, talk to your mom. Try to tell her how you feel about going, that you don't really want to. Maybe she just thinks you would miss out on an important day in your life and would regret it later. |
