| Well i suppose we don't. But there have been recently documented stories and also ones that occured a long time ago of the consecrated host turning into flesh and wut not, or the wine turning into actual blood. I suppose we wouldn't know if that was God at work, but I believe it to be God. |

| What u people dont get is that its mostly about faith,if god came down to earth and told people this is me,im god,then everyone would believe in him, and thats not the way people should believe in god, its really all about faith. |

| ^well yes, the main factor of believing in God is in faith, I mean you can try to prove God's existiance and wut not, but all evidence seems to lead to one common thing, and that is faith. |

As much as I enjoy reading this discussion and chuckling about a few things here or there, why does everyone freak out so much? God is something you either believe in or you don't, period. It might have another form than the usual, but fact is, everyone believes in what works for them, and neither side of yours will be proven right until maybe Jesus comes back. I've also heard of people who believe in God AND Evolution.
What is it about religion that makes people go crazy all the time. I hate nothing more than people that try to force their beliefs on others, just like the JWs that don't give up writing me letters and showing up on my doorstep. Why can't you just let others be and let them believe in whatever they believe in? Nothing worse than die hard religious people trying to convince others...oh wait. die hard atheists. Equally bad.
And one more person going on about satanists should go and do some studying. Aside from the silly name the COS (founded by LaVey, before mentioned) has nothing to do with worshiping the Christian invention Satan, Lucifer, however you want to call him. But I don't want to spoil the fun of actual research for people. |

Call me crazy, but I believe that the world needs a little more than faith, although faith is a good thing. I don't believe in having faith and trusting people I don't know exist. I have faith in the people I know exist, and I place my trust in people I know.
This is where I disagree, Acid, I think everyone would believe he exists, but I don't believe that everyone would necessarily follow him. Or her. Wrap your head around THAT one. No proof that "God" is male.
It would answer a lot of questions, but, I wouldn't necessarily follow God. Too many people have killed over religion, this God has sent many to hell just on a power trip for not following his "holy rules", it's absurd. It's like we're following a psychotic murderer or something. Not something I want to do in my spare time.
I am a buddhist. Buddah was actually a documented human being who only had a message of love. Not to condemn anyone to hell. Not to abuse anyone, and treat everyone with the utmost respect. I know he existed, and that is who I believe in.

And I said exactly the same thing that you did, in fact, you simply repeated me. I said that the majority of Satanists didn't, persay, believe in Satan. I said it could be the LeVayans who did, but, I could also be wrong. I had read it some time ago, but, I could be confusing my names, like I had already said. ^^What kind of "loving God" would say that? "Do as I tell you or go to hell"? I thought this was an all loving being here.
I'm sorry, I just don't believe as you guys believe. I guess that belief has been lost as I have aged.
I find that if there is a god, for all that is going on in the world, and all this corruption he has let happen in his name all around the world, he's a sadist. I believe in people I know exist, or existed. I can't put my faith in someone I don't even know if he's real or fake. I don't think any religion out there exactly has it right, to be honest, but Buddhism, well, that's something I can live by while being satisfied with myself. It doesn't preach. |
