| When I went and saw Serj live, he had a speech before every song. I think those little things between the songs are what makes System concerts entirely diffrent from normal concerts. I think if System didnt do it they would just be like any normal band. |

I saw Serj Tankian's first show at chicago
He had several little sayings and things between some songs
One i remember vividly was right near the end of the concert he said something like
"I love my country, but there should be no countries
I love my flag, but there should be no flags
I love my boarders, but there should be no fucking boarders"
Also before Bethovan's cunt he said something like "When i look into your beautiful eyes it reminds me of bethovan's cunt" Actually he didnt really say it he sortof sang it in a high voice
Before he sand Baby he gave a little speech about how the song had come to him in a dream
as he was talking a man in the crowd through a hat at him and it hit his quitar squarely
Serj just smiled and said, "Thank you for your hat" |

At the end of the concert as he was taking his final bow someone from the audience through a tiny american flag with a peace sign on it to serj
Serj picked it up and said, "An American flag with a peace sign on it. Its my fucking dream."
there were probly 2 or 3 more little things he said throughout the concert that i dont remember |
