NOTE: I do know this song is about drugs, i just wanted to give it a diffrent meaning, so no comments saying "thats wrong" please
Aha you all said i couldnt do it! But ive proved you wrong!
Anyway i believe "This Cocaine Makes Me Feel Like I'm On This Song" does not actualy have anything to do with cocaine
It is actualy about a very sick man who doesnt want to be taken to hospital and pretends theres nothing wrong with him! Dont believe me? Just read this
""There's nothing wrong with me
There's something wrong with you"
Now this is obviously the man proclaiming that he is fine, he's a bit angry and moody so he's accusing other people of being sick.
"I hope your stepson doesn't eat the fish
When we're crying for our next fix"
AHA! Now we know what happened to the man he ate some really bad fish! how sad and he's telling someone to stay away from the fish, im not to sure about the next line, maybe he's crying because he feels sick and wants to get fixed?
"Killers never hurt feelings
Killers never hurt feelings"
This is most likely him proclaiming his non-sickness once more, hes getting a bit more angry saying that it didnt hurt his feelings
"Gonorrhea gorgonzola
Single files of clean feedings"
He's just naming other diseases there, perhaps sarcasticly saying that he might aswell have them. The next line is him complaining about the hospital, hows it just organised with feedings etc.
"I can't see your souls through through your eyes
The crying walls of sliding architecture
Kidnapped by the likes of pure conjecture
Upholstery loving men all dwelling in the wells
Kidnapped by the likes of pure conjecture"
This is a big rant about the hospital he dreads! The first line is about him not being able to see anyone he cares about in there, how he shall be alone.
The second line is simply about the hospital building itself, the "crying walls" made by its unhappy inhabitants.
The 3rd line is about how he feels like he is being kidnapped by being taken there against his will
the 4th line is about the hospital staff who are always lurking out of sight but love their upholstery ....
So there you go! Thats what that song is really about! |

VERY CREATIVE.
I really like this one. Ok, I love how SOAD and Many other bands' songs can be interpreted so freely.
Like this one... I would have never thought of, and I am sure many people wouldn't have. However the verse:
"There's nothing wrong with me, there's something wrong with you" Provoked me to think a bit about a sanitarium or something like that.
GOOD JOB. |

Obviosuly the song is clearly about drugs. Just warning the younger people in this world to not do them. But, not giving the message clearly away, they substitute the words Cocaine with FISH.
Just giving you something to think about instead of giving you the secret right away. |

^^I still love Niall's interpretation.
I personally have always felt it kinda, I've take (lil' too much) cocaine and I'm freaking out and it feels very natural to talk about don't eat the fish etc. |
