| Serj kicked ass at Pointfest on Sunday the 18th. The entire festival was awsome too but not as awsome as Serj's show at 10PM. First the DJ's said "We got someone named Serj Tankian back ther waiting to come out" stuff like that. Then, all the lights went out and then sounds of gunshots, bombs, and tanks played. Then a light flipped on and Serj was standing on the stage singing some opening song thats not on the album. After that, he yelled, "Ladies and Jentlemen, the Flying Cunts of Chaos!"(FCC) and played Empty Walls, Feed Us, Saving Us, and on Lie Lie Lie, he did the traditional "How many of you have seen the movie Borat?...And how many have seen Romeo and Juliet?...Well what do you get when you put them together?" I yelled out LIE LIE LIE LIE LIE! Then serj said it in a high pitched voice. And on Sky Is Over, I was the first one (of anybody that I could see) to raise my fist in the air during the interlude.(not including Serj) He played Praise The Lord And Pass The Ammunution, and I guess all the solo songs, but I had to leave in the middle of Money because it was late, but I could hear Holiday In Cambodia and Honking Antelope while leaving. It was the best day of my life. The sad thing is that i found out a week later, that I won Meet N' Greets to go backstage before the show and meet him. I was so upset but I'm crossing my fingers for him to play the next Pointfest |

You found out you had backstage passes AFTER the concert was already over ?!  How did that happen? man, if I were you, Id kick my own ass for missing the chance to meet Serj! And you also left while the show was still going on?! Oh well...  |

I'm not meaning to sound mean but I've never understood people who leave before the show is over.. like it's hard to make me leave at all.

yeh, i read my email a week later because a month before, there was a contest on 1057thepoint.com where u tell why u deserve to meet the band, i put that i started liking soad after the hiatus and it made me upsset, and i forgot to check my email and a week later, i found out. i was so freakin mad at myself, but i keep saying serj will play the next one in sept. he will HE WILL! and im gonna say my situation and theylle most likely give me another pair of passes. |

yeah, but glad you still liked it
thnx, but it was 10:30 and my friends mom was the only ride home and she really had to leave. i was sad. but at least i saw him live |
