Nice theory
Quote:
the above article pretty much says that California is considering legalizing marijuana.
I'm so happy that I'm going to move there |

So if they legalize pot (for everyone), stoners from all over the U.S. will flock to California looking for some easy (maybe cheaper) marijuana.
I doubt that, unless they're that desperate for it. Some of the more reclusive stoners would probably start befriending politicians in every state, therefore push to have a certain amount of pot on you.
There's a city in Arkansas that's actually wanting to pass a law of letting people have a certain amount on them. This was awhile back though.. I doubt it's still being discussed lol. |

| I still don't see why it's not legal. It's proven to be much safer that alchohol and tobacco, effect and healthwise. When Alchohol was illegal, that little banishment failed and they made alchohol legal once again. I think that after a while, the government will capitulate and just let us go...Hopefully. |

That's exactly why it isn't legal. It will create little to no buisness for politicians and that sort.
It's so easy to grow a moron can do it, which means it won't become a huge corporate thing, people don't hurt themselves(usually) or others under the influence so medical services don't even get a workout, and it is generally a feel good thing. What does the government get out of this? Nothing. Legalization won't happen for awhile. |

The government wants more money obviously and they know they can't tax it. Well.. they could tax it but it would be a really really really long process to do and I really doubt the government would have the patience for that.
I think it's stupid they started propaganda about it, they're just trying to scare people about it and they believe it... fucking sheep >_>
Does anyone have a Myspace? You guys should definately add 420 bands, they have some interesting and well put articles. They have some cool bands too. Also check out NORML's and Tommy Chong's Myspaces.
Even if Cannabis is still illegal I wish Hemp farms were still around like back in the day |

Back during WWII the US government encouraged farmers to grow Hemp for the war effort. "Hemp for Victory" was the slogan. Hemp still grew wild in Indiana back when I lived there (I left Indiana in '93.), even though the authorities worked hard to eradicate it.
My last summer in Indiana there was a huge pot plant growing on the meridian of a busy highway close to Martinsville. No one bothered it for months. It got huge before someone cut it down. |

If you smoke weed once, you WILL become addicted, lose your family, friends, pets, house, and money. You will cause intentional physical harm to yourself and die almost immediatly. You have been warned by the government, so you should know.
