I'm having a difficult time understanding you, but correct me if I'm wrong --
You're playing two different set-ups: one at your school and the other is your own at home.
You could be experiencing back pain at your own kit because it is inadequately set up. You might be over-exerting yourself in order to play. Try changing the angle and height of your kit.
Also try stretching your back and arms before you play. Even your legs, if you're a hard kicker.
Your stool or whatever you sit on might also not be right for your body. I don't know if there is a difference between the one at your school and the one at your home, but a lot of time the cause of back pain is what you're sitting on.
Anyways, I hope I helped a little. If I didn't, well... good luck. |

| Sit up...thats it. if you slouch, your back will hurt. That, and you may look kinda stupid drumming all bent over. Keep the stool higher mabey. It could help your posture while drumming. I keep my stool about an inch below the top of my snare drum. you can get better posture and good rim shots too if you do it that way. |

| I use a crappy little digital machine , so I can't help , cause I don't really know any tips and tricks of the acoustic drumset , but , logically , I agree with what's been already said |
