Here are some of the new and improved drum set
Here's the skinny, in handy bullet-point form.
* All songs from Rock Band and Rock Band DLC will be playable instantly in Rock Band 2.
* New DLC releases for at least the next year will be playable on either game.
* All instruments have full world tour status--so solo bassists can finally play the full game.
* World tour includes all venues from the first game and dozens more.
* If World Tour is too much for you, there are smaller "campaigns" that utilize DLC.
* Set-up screen for band navigation made simpler, so it won't take an hour to get your band rocking because your drummer keeps hitting pads!
* Pre-made characters mean less time customizing.
* "No fail" mode.
* Expanded online challenge modes.
* Drum trainer mode will teach you drums, and includes a freestyle mode for just beating the skins.
* Improved system calibration
* Jukebox mode for just listenin' to tunes!
* Real guitar support: Fender is planning on releasing stripped, full-size Rock Band guitars.
* Ability to purchase clothing and accessories for characters. |

Awesome! I can't wait for this. The ones I will play the most are:
Chop Suey (of coarse)
Peace Sells
Ace of Spades
And hopefully there will be more System downloadable content and Metallica too. |

^ That's awesome. I was reading the track list, and seen that song, and I never heard of it before, and now I know why.
It looks to be a good list overall. |

i can't wait to play
One Step Closer (my favorite song of all time)
Chop Suey! (not one of my fav system songs, but i still like it)
Peace Sells (i've been a megadeth fan since i was born. my dad used to "sing" megadeth tunes to me before i was born to settle me down when i started kicking my mom)
Today (i just love that song)
there's a lot of other songs that i'm looking forward to, but these 4 are what i'm looking forward to the most
The Offspring and Static-X were two bands i wanted to see in one of these games for a while now. |
