hey man, don't call others idiot if you say the resolution does not matter!!!
just imagine 2000kb/s for 4 pixels. that means about 1999,9kb/s for nothing, but it's still possible (if this resolution would be supported).
You're right about the fact that to a certain limit it is not such a big difference but that's just because 2000kb/s is not the most for a HD video.
That leads me to another point. ITUNES SUCKS BIG TIME! Shit quality mp3s (128kb/s), shitty videos, and everything with DRM.
Sorry, and I don't mean this personally, but everybody who would actually pay for such crap is the real idiot. There are other ways to get the socalled Itunes exclusives!
Oh and for me this video has still crap quality.
brother, if you actually convert it, why don't you tune up the volume. If I switch from the they say music file from my promo disc to the video, i have to turn up the volume enormously, and the first two seconds you can only hear the song on the left ear, which was not the case in the youtube version. And it's not on my promo version either to answer your question. Typical of itunes crap. The clean version you can download for free has the same problem. Unacceptable to buy such shit.
I guess I gonna have to wait until someone decides to rip the actual DVD of the video. Or I might just get myself a copy of it, maybe I will be able to spot one on ebay in the future. |

Yeah what I mean by resolution doesn't matter is in reference to after a certain bitrate it looks fine. The real reason I was getting so fumed is that people were saying Hacks was better when we both got em off iTunes.
As for the quality, it was a buck fifty, meh. Though I am pretty annoyed because I figured out it is 1500kbps quality while my other iTunes video purchases have been 2000+... So I feel a little ripped off. But until someone gets a DVD rip I'd say this is pretty damn good. But I know you're kind of a quality whore Langenscheiss so for what might be fine quality for one person is terrible for you 
As for the volume, can't fix that :/ There is only one way to convert videos purchased off of iTunes and that's by capturing the video while it's playing, I have a program that does it, but you can't fix the volume. |

The problem is that the ITUNES CRAP has
- a shitty 128k sound quality, but it's not even good for 128k
- odd aspect ratio (16:8.9 blabla), odd resolution
- very low video bitrate for such a high resolution (the orginial resolution)
- low framerate (23,9) even worse than PAL
But that's typical of Apple. They want extreme amounts of money for a mobile that, with a different form and even better, existed before, they want extreme amounts of money for mp3-players that are worse than other players that are at least 100 bucks cheaper, they have developed ITUNES.
Apple is by far the worst and most shameless really big hardware/software company that exists nowadays and EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTS THIS COMPANY BY SPENDING EVEN 1 BUCK FOR THEM MUST BE SHOT IN THE HEAD IMMEDIATELY AND I'M NOT KIDDING OR EXAGGERATING IN ANY FUCKING WAY! I'm very happy to be able to claim the free choice as mine! |
