This is a SOAD fic written by me and Nessa (system_of_a_down_lover)
we're kinda new to the fic scene so be gentle...
this is the first chapter.
Enjoy.

I woke up to find Serj packing his last bag, already dressed and ready. He didn't notice me until I stirred a bit and sat up. He turned to me and grinned. "Good morning Michelle. You sleep good?"
"Sorta," I replied "I kept waking up every couple of hours."
"Why so?" asked Serj.
I got out of bed and sat next to where he was packing."Because I was dreading today...I'm going to miss you while you tour..."
Serj sat by my side, put his arm around me, and gently kissed my forehead. "I know babe... I'm going to miss you too. But you know I have to."
"I know, I know" I said as I got closer to him "I'm just going to be really lonely without you here." I said with a smile.
Serj smiled "Well at least we had last night, it was a great 'going away' gift." and with that we kissed one more time before he got up to get his bags.
Serj walked out of the bedroom, I followed soon after, with a blanket wrapped around my naked body. He opened the door a peek, I could see Lar and Mario in the car outside waiting. I just stared at Serj until he came over and held me. "I love you."
"I love you too..." He gave me a quick kiss then he was gone.
After the door closed I wasn't sure what to do with myself. Serj's dog, Bowie, cuddled with me on the couch. The way he looked at me told me he could tell how I was feeling. I filled his bowls with food and water, then realized it was noon and I hadn't showered or gotten dressed yet.
As I shampoo'd my black hair I reminisced about me and Serj's showers together. The house just felt so empty without him there. I took a much longer shower than needed, the hot water relaxed my sore muscles from the night before. I couldn't help but blush thinking about it.
"Great" I thought "I got this whole house to myself with nothing to do other than clean." I put on one of Serj's obey tshirts and a pair of shorts and went to the kitchen. It was a mess, dishes piled to the top, the trash bag over flowing with junk, and plates of food still out. "I guess I should start cleaning."
I tried to keep my mind on my chores, but I just couldn't focus. All I could think about was Serj, and about the night before. It was amazing, one of the best nights I'd ever had. I started to realize he wouldn't be home for God only knows how long, and until then I was alone. |

Not bad at all for being new to fanfic. It's actually legible, which is a lot more than I can say for the other SOAD fics on a certain site.  While this chapter is quite short, it was a good read, and a great choice as a beginning, since it leaves the reader guessing what could happen next. Personally, when it comes to chapter fics, I enjoy a shorter, but just as interesting beginning and for the actual meat of the story to come later. Looking forward to more. 
And wtf, why is everyone collaborating lately, I feel left out.  |

I've actually written a few fics, never felt like sharing the though 
Maybe I will someday.
But anyway, I'm glad that you like it. The second chapter should be up soon, within a day or two.
And the next chapter will be longer

Nice starter, especially when she reminisces taking a shower with Serj (grrrr - ENVY! ENVY! ENVY!) - and the messed-up kitchen - Serjyboy isn't that flawless after all

Bad news, Kynzee is grounded for God only knows how long and she has the chapter saved on to her computer.
So until she is ungrounded or sneaks on, there won't be Chapter 2 anytime soon  |
