I'm not sure how many of you guys listen to Eastern music (Iranian, Armenian, Turkish) but trust me, the biggest influence on his music is Eastern Folk music which is great for me (I'm Iranian).
It's the reason why some of his chord progressions and melodies might sound unusual.
I'm Polish and even I recognize A LOT of the melodies, chords, singing styles etc. from traditional folk melodies, but I don't remember any song names or anything. The solo in Universe especially rings a bell, I'm sure I've heard it before. |

Some people don't get into Cute Machines, but I think the drums in it are pretty much the reason why it's on the album... And if I'm the only one who thinks it rocks: So be it lol |

| OMFG this is just amazing... I just started listening to it and it's great. I'd have prefer to listen to it when I buy it, but until september I won't have the chance to, so... Great work Daron and John. |

Cute Machines is one of the best songs on the album. The lyrics are... well, yeah, but the music is great and Daron's voice on this song is better than anything else he's ever sang on. |

Cute Machines sounds good.
But the lyrics? Not too awesome. |

Cute Machines?! COME ON.
An infant could have come up with those lyrics. I'm a Daron fan, don't get me wrong! I'm just stating the facts. |

I just say writing lyrics isn't that easy... I should not be on anything but like hey it's cute machines, it makes me think... they seem simple like infant made, but if you want, you can go further... |
