I remember Daron saying that he's getting a good vibe on 3005. And on the first set lists the title SCARS ON BROADWAY is 3005.
Strange. |

I think they've never played it live... 'cause then they would have had two tracks named Scars on Broadway or they'll release same track with different names, or I've missed out on something again |

I remember this too. Daron is liar. xD
So... For me this album is amazing. Sounds great! In my opinion Daron's vocal is very good, music is awesome. ...only Cute Machines is hmm.. boring? But this is still fantastic album. |

| I think Daron's voice is better than his voice in System, to me sometime it was annoying, but I really liked it in SOB's album. |

Daron's voice has definitely improved. It shocked me.
Funny, when I first heard ETD, I immediately liked it, but now almost a year later, a lot of it annoys me. And at the initial few listens of SOB, I don't necessarily like it, but I don't hate it either. Maybe I'll end up loving it. Or maybe not.
What is happening to me....
I think SOB is a lot stronger musically than ETD, while ETD is stronger lyrically.... I guess that's why System was so great. |

I guess a fan site isn't the place to go for unbiased opinions but come on you guys, this album is a let down. The songs were clearly written by someone who can create moods and energy with reasonable proficiency but the combination of underdeveloped song ideas/structures, overly simply guitars and just dumb lyrics this album isn't "amazing" or "great", "good" may be hyperbole. Daron is a talented songwriter this album just seems unambitious to me. There are good moments but either a) he sings something fucking dumb over it or b) it's repeated 4 times in the 3 minute song, thus getting old.
I hope these are just songs he had lying around that he liked and come next album he'll write a solid cohesive set of songs that show his talent better than this turd.
6.5/10
Sorry kids. |
