| it was interesting seeing one of the reasons that heath became so...well you know. It was almost kinda creepy seeing a recently made movie knowing the actor just died. But still, this movie was KICKASS!!!. |

| Yeah, all the critics about the movie say this is one of the best movies ever... I never thought they'd do a Batman movie better than the ones Tim Burton did. |

I saw Batman this afternoon and, to be honest, I was not impressed. Yes, it was a really good movie. I thought Christian Bales and whoever that chick was lacked something in the acitng department. And I felt the movie could have been better edited. Several scenes could have been shortened and/or cut to make the movie flow better.
As far as Ledger goes, I realize that people are saying really nice things about him because he's dead. But I've seen psychotic junkies act like that before. And I'm not sure if Ledger was acting that part or just being himeself in that role. Perhaps he had just become a psychotic junkie in real life. After all, look at how he died.
Gary Oldman was great, and Aaron Eckhart's performance was impressive. The special effects were great for the most part.
But I've got to say that I enjoyed Ironman more than I enjoyed Batman. Batman was more complex and thought provoking to be sure, but Robert Downey Jr. is a much more compelling actor than Bales. When Ironman jumped or fell off of a building or precipice, your heart jumps into your throat. When Batman falls or glides off of a building, it was just a yawn for me. |

Just saw this tonight and it was GODDAMN AMAZING.
I don't care that people thought it was slow - it wasn't, it was great and they know it.
One of the parts where the Joker gets pissed and shouts angrily scared the shit out of me, though. |

ok, Heath Ledger DID NOT kill himself. It was proved that he was PRESCRIBED two medicines from two different doctors. They both didn't know he was on the other medication, and there was a bad reaction.
Anyways, I LOVEd him in that movie. I didn't get my hopes up too much because I thought they might haved talked up his role because he had passed, but it was amazing. It was really kinda funny, but psycho crazy at the same time.
