Ben Myers' System's Right Here in Hollywood book
Contest Theme :
System Of A Down in a cartoon or comic strip!
Use your imagination and creativity to portray anything related to System Of A Down in a cartoon or comic strip type setting.
This is a free illustration contest, so you can use any tools you wish to manipulate the comic strip, including drawing, photoshop, paint, etc.
Contest Rules :
1- Only SOADFans Members registered before September 1st, 2008 are eligible to enter this contest.
2- Only one entry per member is allowed.
3- Do not post your entry until the contest is over.
4- Submissions MUST be ORIGINAL and not posted before on these forums.
5- Entries should be NOT less than 800x600 pixel and not more 2048x1536 pixel, make sure to send us a good quality photo.
6- Deadline to receive the entries is Sunday, October 19, 2008
**Please note that comic strip stories must be limited to a minimum of at least 6 boxes and a maxium of 10 !
How to Send Your Entry
All entries should be sent by Private Message to one of the following team members:
ZAk or Skit
along with the following info:

>>>Your link where you have uploaded your entry.
Please provide us with that info or your entry will be removed.
Please don't rush sending your entry, take your time and be creative.

Contest FAQ :
1 - Why SOAD cartoon/comic contest?
Why not?
2 - Can I draw and then put some effects using photoshop?
Do whatever you like, the way you want.
3 - I don't get the theme?
Use your imagination, based on what we know of System Of A Down, for anything in particular. This is totally your creative form and is totally up to you as far as story line and images.
4 - I have sent my entry but didn't get a confirmation email?
Make sure you indeed did send it by PM.
If you're sure you sent the entry, wait 48 hours and post in this thread, we'll be sure to check it out.
5 - Is the prize signed by any of the band members?
- No, its not. Maybe next time. 
6 - Can I upload my entry on photobucket or another photo host and send the link?
- Yes, no problem with that.
7 - When will you announce the winner?
- Will be selected via the Hut members and will be announced by the end of October.
NOTE: Due to the recent events here at SOADFans, we have extended the deadline until the end of October. This will be a September/October contest; next will start back up in November. |

since you're here , and I'd like to make a post relevant to the topic
you've seen mine right ?
does the format of : 9 SQUARES , then 1 big RECTANGLE , count as 10 SQUARES ? ( I think you meant "panels" )
so , is it legal like that ? |
