So does anyone know what songs or albums Daron uses the Jackson RR5 to record with? The reason i want to know is - how an alder bodied guitar may affect overall tone.
thanks.

I think there's way to much overdubs and stuff to make a direct comparison...

Didn't Daron use a Jackson to record the album Toxicity?

He definitely used it to record a layer on the track Toxicity, there is a video of that, but other then that I think it would be hard to confirm exactly which tracks.

that's the video of soad in the studio, but as Scar_Non said, he only played a layer of toxicity on the Jackson.

There's literally, like, 20 guitar overdubs on each song, each one using a different amp/guitar combination so it's hard to say how it affects the overall tone.

We like releasing albums, but our main goal is to play live. We started out as a live band, we didn't expect to be huge. We just wanted to play music and have fun.
