Fucking hell! I think you both over-reacted. Our government and healthcare system isn't exactly awesome, that's for sure. Hopefully future government can change that.  But the USA has it so much better then other countries.Compared to the oppression in Ireland? I'll take my brainwashing in the USA, thanks very much.
And, I don't know what aspirin YOU take Michael, but mine isn't $700.  |

I mean in the hospital...
When you go to the Doctor, and they give you an aspirin the bill comes back at 700 - 1000 bucks JUST FOR THAT. Plus, another 500 for them even filing the papers.
Naturally the aspirin on the shelves aren't 700 bucks lol
I'd take America over most other countries myself...But not somewhere like Canada, I've been and spent some time there..It's really a wonderful country |

Yeah Canada is great. Sicko wasn't 100% correct about the healthcare there tho. I talk to someone from Canada all the time. Their taxes are through the fucking roof. And, if they can't pay them, they need to pay for healthcare just like us. Also, the scenes filmed took place in small town hospitals. If you went to a larger one, there is no way you'd be able to get in immediately. NOT saying it's better than the USA's lol. But it's just not perfect as it was portrayed to me.
I know nobody said it was. Just throwing that out there. |

The big problem is how much the charge actually is.... When you're paying, over a grand for an ambulance ride to the hospital..That's a problem.
I talk to a few Canadians myself, and they said the complete opposite. He told me he's paying as much taxes as I am every week and they are extremely happy about the healthcare system. No1 would mind payin for healthcare if it wasn't so much |

Anyways...

You remind me of someone who would bitch about how they are sick of pancakes as they are driving themselves to eat at iHop, willingly.
