After the huge success of The Sims and the Sims 2 - they are finally coming back to the Sims franchise for another stab at the world famous people simulator for The Sims 3!

http://thesims3.ea.com/

Although I think a lot of the characters in the first stills look a little too similar, this should be good.

Apparently it's supposed to be coming out in 2009 sort of time (thats why Apartment Life was the last ever (sob) Sims 2 expansion pack.

I just need to upgrade to a 1tb hard drive, and I think I'll just be able to run it Razz

Anyone else looking forward to this? Very Happy

Dude I hated the Sims 2. It got too confusing for me. Laughing I loved how you could make the people look perfect...but it was just too 3D for my blood. I play the original every so often tho.

I imagine this one is going to be so much more confusing, plus nobody's computers will be able to run it very well unless bigger hard drives are released Razz

I will probably buy it when it comes out, given I have a better amount of memory or a better PC by then (and it's not too expensive Razz).

Wish I still had The Sims, but I doubt my PC would handle it anymore (considering I can't even run Grim Fandango these days Crying or Very sad).

I really loved the Sims, but god did it suck in your time! I could spend like 5 hours on there, thinking only one hour had passed! I've already killed 2 computers with the first 2 versions, I shalnt be doing it again!

Thats really cool that your sim can walk around the neighbourhood, I was always desperate to do that, I invite friends over, but I never get invited back! How rude of those sims!

This should be good. I've liked the franchise since the first one. Over time I have learned to not buy all the expansion packs though... only the useful ones. They release a lot of expansion packs...

I'm not really a fan of how the characters look (they're very... doughy). I was talking about this with other people, and they kept saying that since everything's customizable, it's gonna be really hard to make custom content (especially meshes). Which sucks, custom content is the only reason I keep playing TS2. Adds diversity.

Yeah I think I'm probably going to wait until a little bit after it comes out considering the possibility that meshes are going to be hard to come by...I enjoy making the Joker and Vincent from Beauty and the Beast for my own nefarious deeds Razz

Always liked Sims ^^ I've been playing them since the first version Embarassed
I truly doubt that I'll buy Sims 3,since I have to upgrade my computer to play them, and that's quite expensive.I'm pretty satisfied with Sims 2 and some expansion packs, and that's actually the only computer game I'm playing atm.

Arto’s amazing, like he uses his pockets to make bird sounds. Everything’s an instrument..
