I liked two first albums, second album was awsome. but last one isnt so great, tought Bat Country, Beast and the Harlot and Betrayed are good ones. But they can do great solos, fast and good. too bad that they are not metalcore anymore.

Avenged Sevenfold is one of my favorite bands and I love every single song by them. My favorite song is Chapter Four. I love how synyster gates and zacky vengeance play guitar together. The newest album is amazing to. I love the song Afterlife. And it isnt true that m. shadows cant scream anymore. He said "The first album was screaming, i want the second to be half screaming half singing, and the one after that to be all singing". He already knew that he wanted to sing before Waking The Fallen came out. I love how Avenged Sevenfold plays a ton of different types of music.

Despite what I said on the second page of this thread; I can no longer stand this band.

Their first two albums were masterpieces. They had so much emotion and a driving instrumental power. The third album had it's moments (i.e. Beast and the Harlot, Trashed and Scattered.) On their new album... I liked A Little Piece of Heaven. Almost Easy was alright. But besides those two tracks, an awful record. They have crossed from Metalcore to... simply bad music. Their new album is such a mess, and what is up with Dear God? Are they trying to pull a Metallica and do a country track? But, unlike Metallica, they're country song is awful. Matt Shadows has turned into an obnoxious prick who is caught up in their newfound MTV fame. By the way, the video for Afterlife drove me up the wall, Shadows looks like a wigger. But I suppose that's fitting since it's practically a rap song.

I've lost faith in this band. But I'll always hold Sounding the Seventh Trumpet and Waking the Fallen dear to my heart.

I loved the first two albums also. I really relate to sounding the seventh trumpet because I am in high school and they wrote it when they were in high school. I love the bass in the first album also. They did change a lot and I know that alot of people don't like that but I still love all of their songs, new and old. However, I don't like how everyone like how M Shadows is on MTV and stuff. I hope that on their new album Matt will scream for part of it at least.

A7X!
I got the chance this past December to see them with a friend of mine.
They do really well live, and besides some of the girls there who were practically crying because we were in the front row was a little sad. There Mosh pit was pretty fun too, the people there were mostly teens early twenties.
So being a girl you really didn't have to worry about the 30 something year old crack heads who are there to kill you and steal your spot.
I like there older/Middle stuff a lot more then I do there new Album.
I also think that Synyster Gates is A hottie, but that really doesn't have to do with there music. snapy

I enjoy A7X alot. Their new album really impressed me. City of Evil wasn't bad either.
