I know this topic has a high chance of deletion and I know that i probably should have PM'd you about this but could you pin this to the top of soad discussion or the newbies forum? If not then just delete it and we'll say no more. All i want to say is;

1. System of a Down have never and are never going to record a song that even includes the word 'Zelda'. No matter what you've heard or what you've seen, they have never recorded a track like this.

2. Shavo was in Zoolander so no more topics about this.

3. Look for threads, there may already be a topic about what you want to talk about, don't just start new topics without least using the search bar located up there ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

EDIT 21/03/06 - If you want to find out something, try to search for it on google. The answer maybe easier to find than first thought.

EDIT 09/08/06 - Think before you post a topic. Use this Check table as an example;

_Is it relevant to the forum it is in
_Is it a topic that hasn't been mentioned in the last 3-4 pages
_Is it a topic that people will actually want to talk about instead of just saying "yes, i agree"
_Is your topic not something that could be discussed in another topic

e.g.
Topic - "does serj look like the guy out of dat ova band??" in Soad Discussion
XIs it relevant to the forum it is in
XIs it a topic that hasn't been mentioned in the last 3-4 pages
_Is it a topic that people will actually want to talk about instead of just saying "yes, i agree"
_Is your topic not something that could be discussed in another topic

If the topic doesn't check all the boxes, try changing it to make it fit or try to discuss it in another topic.
_
(once again just delete it if you deem it inappropriate or unnecessary)

I just have to say that I've only been posting on this board about a month or two and I can't even count how many Zelda/Zoolander threads there have been . . . .

Well I'm not gonna take action against you Fletcher because this is a very ballsy thread and plus we need to tell newbies this anyway so I'll let the Admin determine your fate.

to be fair its a discussion forum, is it really that irritating when someone posts a thread about OMG something you allready heard about? Should it really become necisary to do a forum search for every single potential topic? Its just an internet forum, just because you have a large post count it doesnt make you special or better than other people and fair play to you if you want to ask a question on a topic which interests you, im sure there is a constant influx of newbies who would love to discuss Avril laveighn's public cat gutting display, if you dont wish to read or post then dont.

I dont mean for this to sound condescending, just trying to bring a little reason

No offense, but less threads regarding the band's looks would be appreciated. I mean really, bands make music, they're not there to look good, even if they sometimes happen to do so. Not an important point of discussion I think. Laughing

People that aren't from Hollywood have that Hollywood attitude. People that are from Hollywood can read through that Hollywood attitude, like a book, and we try so hard not to be that way
