| I thought I would look up this author after reading he's a favorite of Serj. He seems to be a political activist. If you're interested go to http://www.chomsky.info and read some excerpts. Now I can definitely see where Serj gets some of his ideas. It's very complicated reading and advanced vocabulary, but could be something I might want to look more into. Has anyone read any of Mr. Chomsky's books? |

| Yeah apparently he revolutionised linguistics. Have you read any of his political essays/books? They are very interesting. I have not read any of his linguistic work (don't think I'll bother, I'm not a languages student). |

i haven't.. but all i now about chomsky (regarding politics) is that he was pro-milosevic and that
they were even friends of some sort.. being a "victim" of milosevic's regime, i can't
say i like him.. i don't even wanna know what he's written.. |

| Lol, yeah I can understand where you are coming from. I think Chomsky's point is that many dictators like Saddam Hussein and Slobodan Milosevic are demonised by the 'good' countries like the US and Britain (and to be honest, most of the Western nations), and those 'good' countries conveniently neglect to mention all the atrocities they themselves have committed. |
