It seems like this song is about Daron sort of reflecting on his life. He's saying, "Hey man, look at me rocking out, I'm on the radio." Meaning, "Wow, look where I am today". I think the line "They take me away from, the strangest places, sweet Danny and Lisa." means that when he's feeling like he's in a strange situation or something, he can look back at childhood memories (I remember seeing someone say Danny and Lisa were his friends when he was a kid) and maybe they make him feel better? At that point where they go "La la la lalala la, lalala la, lalala la" it sounds like a merry-go-round going a little crazy, maybe he's saying that now that he's grown up things are kind of crazy? (Of course, I thought I remembered reading something that said he didn't have the best childhood. I have no idea, though...)

Anyway, just a theory. It might not be about him at all! Comments, anyone?

Lisa and Sweet Danny = L.S.D? Like "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds"? xD I think these lyrics aren't very explicit, personally I don't think that they were referred to Radio and Video industries. The "L.S.D" explanation gives sense to "They take me away from the strangest places, Sweet Danny and Lisa", for example.
