I was a passenger,
In a car,
Driven by a lunatic.
In the backseat,
I held hands
With Death,
Who would grin,
And whisper
Cryptic nothings,
That made me
Want to vomit.
In the front seat
Sat Chaos,
Grinning his stupid grin,
While trying
To run over everybody
In the road.
He kept babbling,
Whilst Death kept grinning,
As I kept screaming.
And to the left
Of Chaos,
Sat Reason
Bound and gagged,
Struggling,
To no avail,
Against the bonds
I wrapped it up in.
While Reason struggles
Against the bonds I laid,
Chaos babbles,
While running
Over the people I love,
And Death
Grins at me,
His hold tighter and tighter.
It was all
Temptation's fault.
He told me
That if I kidnapped
Reason,
Than Pleasure would show up,
Knocking at my door.
Pleasure did show up
After I kidnapped Reason,
But Pleasure is double-faced.
Along with Reason,
Pleasure stuffed me into
The car of Life,
With Chaos at the wheel
And Death in the backseat,
Squeezing my hand tighter,
And tighter.
If it wasn't for
Temptation,
Egging me to
Kidnap Reason,
Pleasure would have
Never become so powerful,
As to shove me
Into the car,
With Reason struggling,
Chaos babbling,
And Death grinning,
All the way
Into the lamp post. |
